We are looking for a permanent

Supply Chain Manager, Quality

to join our Operations team in Saskatoon!

Headquartered in Saskatoon with three international offices, Canpotex is one of the world's largest suppliers of potash overseas. On behalf of our Shareholders, Mosaic and Nutrien, we market and deliver Saskatchewan potash, a valuable fertilizer nutrient, to millions of fields and farmers globally - ultimately helping the world grow more food.




The Opportunity:




Establish and maintain quality standards by developing and enforcing quality assurance policies and procedures. Monitor and assess operational activities affecting product quality, providing 24/7 decision support. Identify suitable metrics and KPIs to evaluate product quality and supply chain performance and communicate results to internal and external stakeholders for data-driven decisions. Continuously improve quality assurance programs while focusing on minimizing or reducing costs. Oversee financial performance related to quality assurance, including managing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) systems, approving invoices, and recommending cost improvements. Manage and negotiate contracts for quality assurance service providers, such as surveillance companies and laboratories. Participate as a member of the Technical Support Working Group (TSWG), ensuring that meeting action items are addressed and completed. Lead Continuous Improvement strategies using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.

You'll Bring:




A bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field. A minimum of five years of experience in productions/ operations, supply chain operations, quality assurance, or process improvement, with two years of supervisory experience. Certification in Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9001, or Quality Management Systems is preferred. Experience with industrial operations, dry bulk logistics, international shipping practices, material handling and storage, and/or quality control is considered an asset.
