About the Position
Our Candiac facility is currently looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.

Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.

Develops and maintains detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company, at sites, and in the factory.

Maintains required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production.

Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company.

Develops policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implements subsequent changes to processes.

Identifies optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to consolidation of warehousing and distribution.

Assesses the need for material-handling equipment and staffing; makes recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials.

Negotiates prices for raw material and delivery with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies.

Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Schedule the production process and production per departments by material, employee and equipment availability.

Monitor production process and implement process improvements

Efficiently assign production to minimize company costs and meet delivery deadlines.

Responsible for coordinating and developing production schedules on a daily or weekly basis to meet goals.

Maintaining stock of inventory levels and order all the necessary materials and components (Chemicals, packaging, other)

Responsible for managing product delivery to customers. (Monitoring customer tank/silo level and organize deliveries according to customer production plan)

Analyze past and present data to generate reports and create more effective schedules.

Prepare daily production meeting

Coordinate Japanese production with the export manager and customer service team

Responsible for rail car movement

Work closely with commercial team

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bilingual in English and French

Highly motivated & competitive

Ability to multitask and communicate with colleagues at all levels

Has excellent oral and written communication skills

Working Computer Knowledge - Microsoft Word and Excel is required

Education or Work Experience

Bachelor\'s Degree in Business / Economics / Agriculture related field

Prior to 3-5 years of related commercial experience
