Supply Chain Coordinator
to support
Purchasing, Planning, and Sales Operations (Order Desk)
-- with the primary focus on purchasing execution and data discipline.
This role is critical to keeping information flowing accurately between teams, maintaining ERP integrity, and reducing operational friction. It is a hands-on, execution-oriented position with clear ownership and a strong growth path.
Core Focus Areas
1) Purchasing Execution (Primary Focus)
Create, issue, and maintain purchase orders in ERP (Epicor)
Track supplier acknowledgements, lead times, and delivery dates
Follow up daily on past-due and at-risk POs
Support expediting and supplier follow-ups under direction of Senior Purchaser
Maintain accurate purchasing data (pricing, MOQ, pack size, lead time)
Escalate risks early with clear facts and recommended next actions
2) Planning & MRP Support
Support MRP execution by maintaining clean purchasing data
Help reconcile MRP exceptions (missing data, past-due signals)
Communicate confirmed supplier ETAs to Planning
Assist in maintaining material readiness views for upcoming builds
3) Order Desk & Revenue Operations Support
Support order entry accuracy and completeness in ERP/CRM
Assist with order status updates using confirmed supply and schedule inputs
Help maintain CRM hygiene and operational reporting (backlog, order status)
Coordinate internally on shortages impacting customer deliveries
Ensure order changes are documented and routed correctly
4) ERP & Data Discipline
Maintain transactional accuracy across purchasing and order workflows
Support master data cleanup during and after Epicor go-live
Help enforce standard workflows (no off-system workarounds)
Assist with exception tracking and reporting
5) Shortage & Issue Coordination
Maintain shortage and action logs
Track ownership, ETAs, and resolution status
Support root-cause tagging and documentation
Help close the loop between Purchasing, Planning, Warehouse, and Sales Ops
What Success Looks Like (6-12 Months)
POs are placed, acknowledged, and tracked reliably
Supplier ETAs are visible and trusted
Fewer surprises reaching production and customers
Cleaner MRP signals and reduced manual intervention
Improved order visibility for Sales and Ops
Senior Purchaser and Planner spend less time firefighting
Skills & Traits We're Looking For
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Comfortable working across multiple teams and priorities
Strong follow-through and ownership mindset
Clear communicator (written and verbal)
Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment
Curious, coachable, and systems-minded
Preferred Background
1-3 years experience in supply chain, purchasing, operations, logistics, or order management
Manufacturing or industrial environment experience is a strong asset
ERP experience (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) is an asset but not required
Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business is an asset

Pay: $52,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
