Great, new opportunity with our client, a leading manufacturer in Richmond Hill, ON. The Supply Chain Coordinator will oversee procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier coordination to ensure smooth operations from purchasing to delivery. This role involves close collaboration with production, sales, warehouse, and external partners to guarantee that materials, components, and finished products move efficiently through the supply chain. Experience in PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) manufacturing is highly valued. Full time, permanent role. This is an In Office role. Hours: 9.00 am - 5.00 pm (Monday - Friday). Salary: 50K - 55K, full benefits, free on-site parking.
Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Coordinator will oversee procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier coordination to ensure smooth operations from purchasing to delivery. This role involves close collaboration with production, sales, warehouse, and external partners to guarantee that materials, components, and finished products move efficiently through the supply chain. Experience in PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) manufacturing is highly valued.
Procurement & Inventory Control

  • Issue and manage purchase orders for raw materials, PCBA components, and finished goods
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and run regular inventory analysis reports
  • Update ERP systems (part number creation/classification, BOM maintenance, inventory adjustments, and multi-company transfers)
  • Work with production and sales departments to ensure stock is prepared, decorated, and available on time
  • Coordinate inbound material flow and stock replenishment with internal and external production teams.
Logistics & Transportation
  • Schedule and monitor North American inland transportation, ensuring timely deliveries that meet customer requirements
  • Coordinate with 3PL warehouses for accurate, on-time order picking, packing, and deliveries
  • Track inbound shipments, vessel schedules, and customs clearance to ensure on-time arrivals
  • Manage reverse logistics, returns processing, and repackaging orders to meet customer-specific needs
  • Import/Export Compliance & Documentation
  • Oversee import/export operations, ensuring adherence to customs regulations and trade compliance
  • Prepare, review, and process all shipping documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading)
  • Liaise with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure smooth cross-border operations
Supplier & Partner Coordination
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, and 3PL providers
  • Negotiate competitive freight rates and service agreements
  • Resolve delivery, quality, and billing issues promptly
Operations & Process Improvement
  • Monitor the movement of supplies between departments to support production needs
  • Review and reconcile logistics invoices, resolving discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline logistics work flows, reduce costs, and improve service levels
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Reporting & Communication
  • Track and report shipment status, logistics KPIs, and performance metrics for management review
  • Serve as the primary contact for internal and external logistics inquiries
  • Promote clear and collaborative communication across teams and stakeholders
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain coordination, purchasing, or logistics
  • Strong ERP system experience (inventory, BOM, and part number management)
  • Experience in PCBA manufacturing or electronics components sourcing
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of import/export procedures and documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis/reporting tools
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs when required
  • Familiarity with global supply chain operations and 3PL management
  • Knowledge of lean principles or process improvement methodologies
  • Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Effective communicator across teams and cultures
  • Problem-solving and decision-making ability under tight deadlines.
