We are seeking a dedicated Supply Chain and Logistics Supervisor to join our foundational team and play a key role in building our Canadian operational capacity from the ground up.
Establish and manage the Canadian supply chain infrastructure, acting as the primary liaison with our U.S. affiliate to coordinate compliant cross-border logistics.
Supervise and support a team of logistics staff, ensuring adherence to cGMP, SOPs, and health regulations.
Lead, organize, and review work activities across shipping, receiving, storage, dispatching, inventory, and production scheduling, ensuring compliance with Health Canada regulations.
Review forecasts, place orders with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) via ERP software, and manage:
- Logistics and customs clearance
- Distributors and inventory reconciliation
- Vendor evaluation and procurement of raw materials and packaging components
Resolve workflow issues by implementing corrective actions and improving operational processes.
Coordinate with qualified transportation providers to ensure the prompt, secure, and temperature-controlled movement of shipments.
Provide all necessary documentation to customs brokers for the efficient clearance of pharmaceutical goods.
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to release Finished Goods on time with distributors.
Generate cycle count sheets for daily, weekly, and annual checks, evaluate variances, and ensure system corrections are made in our ERP system.
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required.
Three to five (5) years of relevant experience within the supply chain, logistics, and/or purchasing fields, preferably within the pharmaceutical or a related regulated industry.
Knowledge of Canadian laws, Health Canada regulations, customs, and ISO requirements.
Advanced data analysis and data visualization skills.
Proven experience in operations, logistics, or administrative supervision.
Familiarity with inventory systems, dispatch software, or ERP platforms.
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
