Supply Chain Analyst

Job Description





Purpose:
We believe that through sport we have the power to change lives. Leading the Transportation team and processes chain from the time a PO exits the factory through to arrival at the final destination. The Supply Chain Analyst – Transportation will be responsible to ensure that global and regional standards and policies for the Canadian international inbound and outbound business are properly executed and maintained for all brands. This position participates in transportation and logistics projects and is responsible for the regional implementation of defined deliverables.


Key Responsibilities (Functional):

  • Collaborate with our 3PL/Carriers within each source origin to consolidate inbound orders to maximize equipment/space and schedule cargo movement to meet the required purchase order delivery dates to our DC
  • Verify inbound delivery/shipments are created for all purchase orders in transit in SAP. Manage exceptions and escalate to the proper parties to resolve missing transit
  • Execute tracking with the 3PL of all shipments and action required updates to estimated time of arrival (ETA) in SAP
  • Create/maintain import files and related processes/procedure documents for inbound shipments and audit trail purposes
  • Execute arrangement and systematic process of Direct Shipment to customers (SAP AFS)
  • Manage electronic communication channels (Smartsheet) and interfaces with external parties to ensure optimal operational flows to and from the distribution center
  • Reconciliation of goods receipts postings in SAP to ensure shortages/overages are recorded, reported and actioned with the proper departments/authorities for claims purposes
  • Manage regression testing in SAP. Ensure close collaboration for end to end testing with Supply Chain Teams.
  • Actively participate and support Retail Projects and related inbound movements for new stores and store refurbishment
  • Through various tracking documents (Excel, Smartsheet, Carrier sites, SAP) report on carrier reliability performance each month & through analyst led QBR’s
  • Cross train with the various modes of transport to ensure continuous service to our internal customers
  • Collaborate with other supply chain teams to capture priority shipments, make expedited shipping decisions and update the business on market impacts

  • Strong mathematical skills, ability to manage figures and dates accurately
  • Strong PC skills with extensive knowledge of Excel, Outlook, SAP and Microstrategy
  • Knowledge of html, xml and WMS is a plus
  • Knowledge of PowerBI is a plus


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • College degree/diploma or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 2+ years in the supply chain
