Location: On-Site at Service Experts Calgary or Edmonton Location
The Supply Chain Analyst/Buyer is skilled and experienced in collaborating with outside vendors, colleagues and internal/ external stakeholders on a multitude of projects ranging from external vendor management, data analysis, and other operational initiatives.
Key activities include but are not limited to: requirements gathering, data analysis, modeling alternatives, project management, root-cause analysis, progress reporting and process auditing.
Using Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint to communicate consistently comes naturally to the Supply Chain Operations Analyst. This role calls for a self-starter, a highly business-curious individual, and an individual who is comfortable supporting projects and building collaborative relationships. The individual is expected to operate at a strategic, operational, and project level to optimize operational processes, operational tools, operating standards, sourcing methodologies, supplier qualification & development, value engineering and value stream mapping.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinates purchase order placement and internal stock transfers for Service Experts Western Canada locations.
Follows up with vendors regarding purchase order and shipment status, ETA's.
Achieve defined productivity and performance measures on a consistent basis.
Processes and applies rigorous analyses to maintain inventory policies based on demand projections and min-/max- reorder points for specific SKUs, across the Service Experts network.
Act as a courteous and friendly central point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.
Assist with Procurement Master Data maintenance.
Conduct and implement price increase analysis and price discrepancy process.
Lead the analysis and implementation for supply Chain KPIs and reports.
Assists with Reverse logistics: Return and Redistribution processes.
Support the implementation of Supply Chain initiatives and projects.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or professional certification.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Computer proficiency in Power BI and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access).
Experience with Service Titan is an asset.
Ability to build and manage relationships with various stakeholders.
High degree of business ethics and accountability.
