Supply And Shop Support Coordinator

Job Description

We are pleased to invite you to join our professional team in the role responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement and supply of spare parts and materials for the truck and trailer maintenance shop. Your main duties will include ensuring the timely delivery of materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and coordinating with suppliers and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management

: Serve as the main liaison between suppliers and the shop, ensuring all spare parts and material-related needs are met in alignment with mechanical specifications and price expectations.

Material Coordination

: Enter and manage all work orders in the maintenance management system. Oversee the coordination of materials and spare parts from procurement to delivery, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained to meet shop demand.

Supply Chain Optimization

: Collaborate with suppliers and logistics to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of spare parts and materials

Customer Support

: Address any inbound inquiries on phone and company site, providing proactive solutions and updates.

Reporting and Forecasting

: Ensure all maintenance WO are properly documented and updated in the system.

Problem Resolution

: Quickly identify and resolve supply chain disruptions, including delays or quality issues, to maintain customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Collaboration

: Work cross-functionally and support shop operations by assisting with errands and general tasks. Collaborate with mechanics and other team members to ensure smooth daily workflow

Continuous Improvement

: Identify opportunities for process improvements in material handling, inventory management, and overall shop support, implementing best practices where applicable.

Qualification and Requirements:



2 years of experience in truck/automotive parts procurement and inventory (shipping and receiving & inventory management) Mechanically inclined with corresponding education Strong phone communication and organizational skills Experience with Forklift/Cranes/Heavy Equipment is considered an asset Strong computer, analytical and problem-solving skills (Excel, email, inventory management systems) Ability to produce a large volume of work with a high degree of accuracy Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Safety Motivated and Solution Driven Solid knowledge of truck/trailer parts is an advantage Dependable, self-motivated, and a strong team player

Language:

Preferably Bilingual

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
