Job Description

Cong CaPhe is a small, fast-casual restaurant chain that has been growing rapidly in the Toronto. We are looking for a Barista to assist with the preparation of high-quality coffee drinks and other items for our guests.

Duties and Responsibilities

Promote Vietnamese coffee culture, providing guidance to guests to make informed choices Prepare high-quality, fresh-made coffee drinks, tea, and other items for our guests Clean and maintain the quality of work space Restock and replenish product on the premises Work closely with other team members to maintain a positive and productive working environment Handling cash transactions and strictly adhering to store safety protocols Help open and close store Work as part of a team on special projects as needed Duties and Responsibilities Manage individuals, teams and cross-functional relationships to advance operational goals and implement organizational strategies. Communicate effectively in oral, written, digital and visual form appropriate to external and internal stakeholders by way of regular reporting and meetings. Reflect on personal competence and confidence to identify gaps in professional knowledge and to plan for on-going learning for self and staff improvement.

Competencies

Ability to work independently and be a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership & Team Management: Proven experience in supervising or leading a team in a cafe, restaurant, or retail setting. Inventory & Stock Management: Ability to track supplies, manage orders, and control costs. Operational & Administrative Skills: Experience with scheduling, sales tracking, and health & safety compliance. Pleasant and inviting personality with focus on exceptional customer service Attendance and punctuality Positive attitude and strong work ethic Interact with and understand our customers, addressing any customer requirements through effective and friendly communication Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task Craft food and beverages according to recipes or tailor-made to accommodate individual preferences Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, holidays, and evenings First Aid & Food Safety Certification
