We are governed and operated by professionals with many years of experience in Early Childhood Education and care. We are multi-site child care organization licensed by the Ministry of Education. is seeking a dynamic

Supervisor

to lead a team in a fast-paced childcare environment. The ideal candidate is dedicated to the Early Childhood Education field and will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple sites.

This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team while maintaining high standards of operational excellence.

Skills

Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) Proficient in supervisory techniques with the ability to motivate a team. Ability to manage a team effectively, fostering collaboration and high performance. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks and duties. Previous experience in a licensed childcare program

Responsibilities

This is an administrative position that will require minimal time in the classroom. Supervise and coordinate daily activities of staff to ensure efficient operations. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and enhancing the client experience. Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster a productive work environment. Uphold company policies and procedures while promoting a positive work culture. Manage multiple sites. Have a clear understanding of the CCEYA and its licensing manual Responsible for the registration of families Mange within a budget Manage staff within the collective agreement Ensure that high quality emergent curriculum programs are provided Be an ambassador to our community partners Be committed to professional development and mentor staff in this regard

Requirements of the position:

Must be a graduate of the

Early Childhood Education Program

from an accredited college Must be a RECE

with at least 2 years

proven experience in a licensed childcare. Must be a member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators*
Must be First Aid/CPR certified Must have Safe Food Handler Certification Clear Vulnerable Sector Check Experience in school age care an asset
We offer a competitive rate of pay ($31.27 per hour, including the Provincial Wage Enhancement), mileage reimbursement, and health and welfare benefits (health, dental, vision, chiropractic, massage, etc.)
