What you will do:
Supervise and lead the team of unionized warehouse personnel and manage all aspects of the site warehouses including issuing, storage, inventory counts, vendor managed solutions and facility maintenance
Provide strong safety leadership ensuring compliance with the Rocanville Safety Program (including toolbox talks, planned inspections, job observations, safety meetings, etc.); Nutrien Safety, Health, and Environment Program; and any other required health and safety programs
Collaborate with maintenance and operations departments to manage the repairable spare and rebuildable programs
Maintain good housekeeping at all times
Work closely with the Cataloger/Material Master Data team to update and correct descriptions when required, and initiating inventory modification requests
Guide the identification of proper and justifiable reorder points and reorder quantities to maintain optimal working levels to support the needs of Maintenance and Operations
Ensure materials stored in the warehouse are maintained in the asset and spend management systems, in accordance with Nutrien Procurement Policy and site-specific policies
Directly support or lead warehouse and inventory optimization, as well as other key strategic sourcing projects and initiatives as required to realize a best-in-class procurement organization
Train and develop staff, provide constructive performance feedback and take appropriate corrective action to address performance
Promote efforts aimed at improving current business processes through a culture that fosters continuous improvement and innovation
Manage projects and lead initiatives in the workplace
Build and maintain effective relationships to share information, establish partnerships, and leverage expertise to accomplish the organization's goals
What you will bring:
Warehouse management and inventory control experience in an industrial environment, and supervisory experience in a union environment, balanced with a strategic sourcing background
Supply Chain Management Professional Designation, Business degree, Bachelor degree, Professional Parts Person Designation or equivalent education
Certifications in disciplines such as Procurement, Inventory Management, Lean / Six Sigma, or Operational Planning preferred
Working knowledge of computer tools (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Working knowledge of Oracle, Viziya, SparesFinder and Ariba would be an asset
High commitment and practice to safety

Adapt and is flexible and resilient in response to constraints, failures, and adversity
6+ years of warehouse or strategic sourcing experience and ideally 2-4 years of supervisory experience in a union environment
Ability to collaboratively lead teams in holistic business-based situation analysis, solution generation and action steps
Ability to think strategically with confidence and speed in execution
Strong organizational, project management, time management, and people management skills
Superior problem solving and analytical skills, adaptability/flexibility and the ability to develop innovative concepts, techniques and effectively generate recommendations
Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management and staff; exceptional written communication, oral presentation and influencing skills
Ability to collaborate with internal departments, seek common ground and establish alignment on common goals
Motivated, high-energy and self-starter business mindset; proven change agent with excellent facilitation skills
