JOB SUMMARY:
The Supervisor, Warehouse & Logistics Operations reports to the Director, Supply Chain & Program Management and is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations across two sites (Ambassador and Meadowpine). The incumbent ensures the team operates in a GxP-compliant, audit-ready, and partner-enabling environment. Key responsibilities include managing staff, inventory, and assets, while maintaining departmental compliance with GMP, Health & Safety, and site policies. The role supports the Director by executing operational priorities, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring readiness to meet site objectives, client commitments, and regulatory expectations.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the daily execution of warehouse and logistics operations across two sites, ensuring alignment with the Director's strategic priorities and site objectives.
Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse staff to ensure high performance, accountability, and adherence to GMP, Health & Safety, and company policies.
Manage material receipt, storage, movement, and shipping operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain inventory accuracy and asset control, supporting cycle counts, year-end physical counts, reconciliations, and reporting to the Director and other stakeholders.
Support the implementation and adoption of ERP and other systems to enhance operational visibility, accuracy, and efficiency.
Ensure 24/7 ownership and coverage for temperature-controlled chambers and alarm systems, including response coordination, escalation pathways, and follow-up actions to protect product integrity and regulatory compliance.
Ensure departmental readiness for audits and inspections by supporting documentation, process adherence, and GMP compliance initiatives.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, safety enhancement, and operational efficiency, and implement initiatives in collaboration with the Director.
Represent warehouse and logistics teams in operational meetings, quality forums, and cross-functional initiatives as delegated by the Director.
Coordinate departmental Health & Safety programs, including training, audits, incident reviews, and corrective actions.
Support investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and validation activities related to warehouse and logistics operations.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director to ensure seamless material flow, operational readiness, and site compliance.
Maintain full accountability for the integrity and compliance of all warehouse logbooks, including review for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to approved procedures and data integrity expectations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of GxP/GMP regulations, Health & Safety standards, and compliance requirements.
Extensive experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain-related role, preferably within a biotech or pharmaceutical company.
Experience supervisory or leadership capacity, managing cross-functional teams.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction, and able to adjust workload based on changing priorities.
Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains) for inventory management and reporting.
Knowledge of chain of custody and cold chain processes, including environmental-controlled storage monitoring.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, material handling, and shipping/receiving procedures.
Active License and experience for Raymond Reach and Walkie Rider
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in a collaborative work environment.
Driven and self-motivated, with the ability to lead, facilitate, and prioritize activities across cross-functional teams.
Agility to quickly adjust and navigate shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain-related role, preferably within a biotech or pharmaceutical company.
At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity, managing cross-functional teams.
Experience supporting process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
