Provide accurate information on the results of the days work that will trigger rail replacements.POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Take track protection and abide by all safety rules to ensure everyone goes home safe
• Lead job briefings, plan work for the day, ensure safety of crew
• Responsible for daily contact with the Roadmaster for collaborative ways to keep Rail Flaw Detection equipment on schedule and hit production targets
• Perform quality work ensure the safe passage of trains in compliance with the SPC and Red Book by issuing the appropriate protective slow orders
• Required to be on call on a regular basis outside of normal business hours and workdays
• Work and travel on Winnipeg to Sudbury territory
• Work 2 weeks ON and 1 week OFF schedule (travel required to get to work and back home)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or GED
• Drivers License
• Commercial Drivers License is an asset
• Previous Rail road experience is an asset
• High proficiency in using a computer and troubleshooting ability
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
