Job Description
Our client, a leader in global supply chain located in Saint John, New Brunswick is seeking a Supervisor of Inventory & Assets to join their Maintenance team. The role is a 12-month fixed term contract position, and they are looking to fill the role as soon as possible. The selected candidate will improve the life cycle asset management of the facility.The Role:
- Creating new management policies for inventory, materials, repairable, and supplies.
- In-charge of purchasing new parts, equipment, services and documentation to support the maintenance team.
- Ensuring the registration and inspection of all assets and administer record management including warranty information and processing claims.
- Will oversee the onsite waste management program.
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Maintenance/Inventory Management field.
- Proficiency working with Power BI.
- A team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management, organization and planning ability.
