We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of store management, sales strategies, and team development. This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining operational efficiency to meet business goals.
Duties
Lead and supervise team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
Oversee employee orientation, training, and ongoing development to foster a motivated and skilled workforce.
Conduct interviewing and recruiting processes to attract qualified candidates.
Manage payroll, bookkeeping, inventory control, and purchasing activities to ensure smooth store operations.
Handle POS systems, cashiering duties, and cash handling with accuracy and integrity.
Monitor retail math for pricing, sales management, and store profitability.
Implement merchandising strategies, stocking procedures, and marketing initiatives to enhance store presentation and sales.
Manage shift schedules, organize daily tasks, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Utilize organizational skills to maintain inventory management systems and oversee store management functions.
Engage in leadership roles such as assistant manager responsibilities when required.
Communicate effectively with staff and customers via phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
Support budgeting efforts and assist in developing strategies for store growth.
Requirements
Proven supervising experience in retail or similar environments with strong team management skills.
Proficiency in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, inventory management, POS systems, purchasing, cashiering, customer service, retail sales, shift management, retail math, sales management, pricing strategies, store management, training & development, budgeting, leadership, cash handling, communication skills, merchandising, stocking procedures, marketing initiatives, wireless sales (preferred), time management skills, administrative experience, organizational skills.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse teams and customers.
Demonstrated ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory control and store operations.
