Our vision is to create a culture where inclusion is the goal, and a diverse and representative workforce is our measure of success.The RoleReporting to the General Supervisor, Mill, you will be responsible for planning, directing and administering all mill and effluent treatment activities at the Rabbit Lake operation.In this role, you will:

  • Ensure mill environment, safety, and production goals are effectively and efficiently met. In addition, you will be responsible for providing direction to mill operations personnel, as well as planning and scheduling on a monthly basis.
  • Have cross-functional responsibility to support the technical services team while on site.
  • Be responsible for preparing and presenting material, monitoring and controlling mill areas, overseeing adoption of technological advancement and change management initiatives, as well as continually improving work processes and practices.
  • Make sure that all quality management standards, programs and procedures are followed and updated on a regular basis and that a high standard of environmental and safety compliance is achieved.
  • Support the development of the mill operations team through coaching, mentoring, and training of the mill operators.
Required:
  • Minimum of grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • 10 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
  • Previous working experience using SAP and process control systems
  • Valid Class 5 driver\'s license
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills
  • Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Recommended:
  • A post-secondary diploma or certificate in an applicable field
  • A Saskatchewan supervisory certificate
  • Experience in training is considered an asset
  • Background in Mine Rescue, Emergency Response, and/or First Aid
  • Experience in metallurgy or chemistry is considered an asset
