THE OPPORTUNITY

YOUR MISSION
Major Responsibilities:

Be responsible for all aspects of receiving, material handling, picking, shipping, and logistics.

Develop, communicate, and align the department around the business\xe2\x80\x99s KPIs to achieve targets.

Lead department by setting objectives, developing plans, executing daily management activities, and implementing corrective actions to ensure internal and external customer success.

Fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork to achieve common goals and enhance overall cohesion within the department.

Facilitate training and cross-training opportunities and cooperation within the department.

Foster a learning organization that is invested in recognizing performance gaps, instilling organizational energy to tackle challenging problems, and embracing continuous improvement.

Align the department toward both the long- and short-term business objectives.

Lead the annual physical inventory, daily cycle counting, and excess and obsolete inventory.

Proactively drive the culture of zero safety incidents for the business.

Communicate key metrics to relevant site personnel.

Be the central point of contact for site leaders on warehouse and shipping/logistics inquiries.

Other duties as assigned.

ARE YOU THE ONE?
Required Education, Experience and Skills:

Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.

Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience.

Proficiency in computer skills, encompassing Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/MRP platforms.

Preferred background in warehouse management or supervision.

Prior experience in 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) is a plus.

Valued background in manufacturing, particularly in a supervisory/managerial capacity.

Familiarity with Engineered to Order (ETO) and/or Manufactured to Order product environments is advantageous.

Demonstrated aptitude in analytical thinking and problem-solving.

Capacity to oversee multiple teams and projects effectively.

Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Eligibility for ongoing work authorization in Canada without requiring company sponsorship.
