We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor to lead our team and oversee daily operations within our retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management. This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining operational efficiency to meet business objectives. Bilingual abilities and prior supervisory experience are highly valued to enhance team performance and customer engagement.
Duties
Supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies
Lead, motivate, and develop team members through effective training and performance management
Oversee merchandising strategies to optimize product placement and sales opportunities
Manage scheduling, and administrative tasks
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Conduct hiring processes including interviewing and onboarding new staff
Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and implement strategies to meet sales targets
Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase store visibility
Oversee pricing strategies, inventory purchasing, and stock management to maximize profitability
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized store environment
Utilize POS systems for transactions, cash handling, and reporting purposes
Skills
Required supervising experience in retail or related fields with strong leadership capabilities
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff
Knowledge of merchandising, pricing strategies, sales management, and marketing techniques
Manage purchasing processes efficiently
Customer service expertise with a focus on enhancing the customer service experience
Leadership qualities including team management, supervising staff performance, and conflict resolution
