It takes a hardworking team of energetic people in a wide variety of full-time and part-time roles to conduct a successful multi-million dollar auction - from equipment inspectors, yard managers and operators to administrative staff and customer service representatives.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Inspection Supervisor responsibilities include the ability to professionally manage operational
logistics required to support RB Global inspections Services. This includes the management of 1-5
remote Inspection Coordinator team members. Tasks include the effective oversight and reporting for
logistics, inspector utilization, service level commitments, as well timely communication across multiple
departments. Daily activities include inspection reporting, active communication with ILC team members
& internal departments, routing and re-routing inspectors, adjusting scheduling, ensuring quality internal
customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide oversight, leadership and guidance for Inspection Logistics Coordinator team members.
Supervise interactions with inspectors, Sales, RBA yards, within and across regional boundaries,
and promote effective communication and routing for inspection requests to drive logistical and
operational efficiency.
Manage special projects, train new team members, collaborate with other departments to test and
implement new technology. Create training content and maintain inspection libraries.
Report daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly metrics for Inspection Services performance to team
members and Management.
Constantly revolving and evolving inspection logistics requests
Analyze inspection costs to minimize costs, drive revenue and improve service levels
Organize daily tasks for team members that drives effective communication, efficient routing and
scheduling for field inspection team
Encourage innovative techniques that create growth opportunities for departmental employees
and service programs
Flexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
3 - 5 years logistics, previous people management preferred
Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint Outlook & Word Certified
Advanced logistics and routing, planning and execution
Utilization of staff and contract inspector network to minimize cost using a variable cost structure
Team member problem resolution and continued team member growth
Running, analyzing, and Interpreting complex inspection data to achieve desired results
Professional office work environment
