JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Senior Manager, iGaming, the Supervisor of the iGaming Online Investigative Unit will be responsible for leading a team of investigators focused on monitoring, analyzing, and enforcing compliance within the online gaming sector. This role ensures that licensed iGaming operators adhere to regulatory standards, investigate potential breaches, and support enforcement actions. The Supervisor plays a key role in safeguarding the regulatory integrity of the online gaming environment and protecting players from illegal or unethical practices.
Team Leadership and Oversight

• Supervise and mentor a team of online gaming compliance investigators.
• Allocate resources and manage workloads to ensure timely and thorough investigations.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development.

Investigative Operations

• Oversee investigations and enforcement of non-compliance with AGLC iGaming Policy.
• Review and approve incident reports and evidence packages.
• Coordinate with legal, enforcement, and investigative personnel on case outcomes.

Monitoring and Intelligence

• Lead proactive monitoring of online gaming platforms, forums, and social media for suspicious activity.
• Utilize digital tools and analytics to identify trends and emerging risks.
• Maintain relationships with external intelligence and law enforcement agencies.

Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure investigations align with applicable laws, regulations, and AGLC policies.
• Provide guidance on regulatory interpretations and enforcement strategies.
• Support audits and inspections of registered online gaming operators and suppliers

Reporting and Communication

• Prepare detailed reports and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
• Represent the unit in board hearings, industry meetings, and public forums.
• Respond to inquiries from the public and media as appropriate.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Post-secondary diploma in Criminal Justice, Law, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of investigative experience, preferably in gaming, financial crime, or digital forensics.
• Strong understanding of iGaming platforms, technologies, and regulatory frameworks.
• Substantial experience in supervising and guiding a team of professional staff in a fast-paced, technically challenging, and ever-changing environment.
• Exemplary communication skills and a commitment to service excellence in all stakeholder engagements.
• Strong judgment with an ability to be direct, clear, and decisive with respect to compliance requirements and issues.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in a variety of complex situations. Experience managing complex investigations.
