Tasks

Diagnose livestock health issues Handling animals Monitoring animal health Perform pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering iron and other medication(s), identification of piglets, and castration Treat livestock health issues Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures Carry out a pasture or pen breeding programs Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed Maintain quality control and production records Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs Perform general farm duties Track and report on current feed inventory Weaning
