SUPERVISOR - GLYCOL HEATER

Umbrella Oilfield is a locally owned company in the oil & gas industry. we provide labourers & rental equipment, working in the Alberta / BC Peace Region. Umbrella is seeking hard-working supervisors to lead crews for the upcoming heating season on Glycol Heaters.

We would like 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.

A clean drivers abstract and ability to pull trailers.

Current H2S, First Aid (Level C), and CSO.

The applicant needs to be fluent in English.

APPLICANT MUST BE LOCAL TO GRANDE PRAIRIE, AB

and knowledgeable of the roads and areas of the Peace Country oil and gas industry.

Need to be willing to adapt in a fast-paced industry and a multi-tasker.

Applicant needs to be organized, able to direct crews, teach and lead by example. This position is a hands on position.

Responsible for the crew going out, making sure everyone is ready to work and travel together safely. Responsible for checking the crew in with the medic on site, then checking in with customer. Responsible for staging heaters and supply trailers on-site. Responsible for laying hose foundation, heat trace application and starting the heater. Ensures all lines are hot and then wrapped with insulation. Ability to work on ladders and scaffolding (AWP and Fall Protection would be an asset) Ensure all operations are completed safely and efficiently. Responsible for equipment and supplies. Must be comfortable completing daily tailgate meetings, vehicle, and equipment inspections, and submitting daily updates. Must be able to teach and delegate these tasks as well, answering any questions teammates have. Report to dispatch/management, ensuring excellent communication.
