Supervisor - Glass Department

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:15pm

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Supervisor to lead our Glass Department. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring product quality, managing production planning, and supporting a safe, collaborative, and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the Glass Department with a team of 10+ employees Perform administrative tasks and maintain clear communication throughout the workday Monitor production quality and address issues proactively Manage all aspects of production planning within the department Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards Promote teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives Implement Lean Waste Reduction practices Conduct performance reviews and apply progressive discipline when necessary

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment Experience managing a team of at least 10 direct reports Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment and fabrication processes; assembly experience an asset Background with CNC machines or robotics preferred Lean Manufacturing experience considered an asset Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering is an asset Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills Strong commitment to workplace health & safety
