The Supervisor position ensures that exceptional customer service is provided; including interacting with guests, answering guest inquiries, and effectively handling complaints while maintaining professionalism and a friendly positive attitude that supports HAP service excellence values. The Dining Room Supervisor oversees the daily front-of-house operations and actively participates in ongoing training. This position supervises and motivates team members in line with company standards. Live a summer of adventure and memories, both creating your own and for others. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervises the dining room staff and activities.
• Assists management in providing restaurant guests with professional service, and excellent food quality.
• Help F&B Manager with duties such as ordering, inventory, and scheduling.
• Assists in the personnel development objectives of staff.
• Assists with the Company\'s meeting its financial goals.
• Handle guest complaints according to provided guidelines.
• Visit tables consistently for quality checks and Waithelp assistance.
• Assign opening and closing side work to staff.
• Responsible for daily cashier\xe2\x80\x99s paperwork, deposits, tips, and correct closeouts of the POS system.
• Work closely with the BOH supervisor to provide a seamless guest experience.
• Hold pre-shift meetings with FOH staff.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and sanitation guidelines.
• Contribute effectively to a positive guest experience while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs./23 kg.
• Experience in positions involving customer service or food and beverage service is required.
• BARS Training/Certification is an asset.
• Minimum age of 19 years is required to serve alcohol in the Yukon.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
• Participates in HAP\xe2\x80\x99s sustainability program, aka \xe2\x80\x9cSustain Alaska & the Yukon\xe2\x80\x9d, and efforts by actively recycling (where available), reducing waste, and educating guests about our commitment to the environment.
• Participate in HAP\xe2\x80\x99s safety culture to ensure a safe workplace for all team members and a safe vacation experience for all guests.
• Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service to all guests, coworkers, and vendors.

• Must be eligible to work in Canada.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Ability to organize and prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.
• Ability to organize work, meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail and accuracy while working in a large team.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
• Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines, and safety standards, both at work and in housing (if applicable).
• Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
