JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Concurrent Disorders (CD) Supervisor you will collaborate with the program and departmental leadership team to ensure we provide the best care possible. The CD Program provides assessment, support planning, individual/group counselling, outreach, referrals to Day and Bed Based Treatment and continuing care services to individuals experiencing substance use or a concurrent disorder.
As the CD Supervisor, you would:
Provide staff with administrative and clinical supervision
Develop and evaluate program activities
Facilitate and/or participate in department case management meetings
Monitor referral and intake activities
Provide direct client service consisting of intake, assessment, and treatment including individual and/or group counselling.
Participate in Agency recruiting process, including interviewing and initial training
Liaise and collaborate with direct community partners
Monitor data quality and support program improvement
Hours of work: Monday-Friday, primarily days with one evening shift until 8 p.m.
Start date: As soon as possible.

Annual starting salary is $54,074.00

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Have a college diploma in the Human/Social Services field, with a University Degree in a related Social Sciences preferred
Have a minimum of 5 years' supervisory experience in a related field
Meet the requirement to provide clinical supervision to staff (OCSWSSW or CRPO)
Have current and demonstrated knowledge and experience with treatment practices and principles as they relate to working with individual with mental illness, substance use and/or homelessness issues
Be proficient in MS Office and be familiar with databases
Have access to reliable transportation
Have mediation/conflict resolution/leadership skills
Be able to manage occasional exposure to vicarious trauma
