Job Description

The Closing Shift Supervisor is an entry-level management position responsible for day-to-day supervision of all team members and successful closing of the restaurant. This position provides an opportunity for first time managers to gain managerial skills including time management & prioritization, floor leadership, exceptional guest service and complaint resolution.

Responsibilities:



Closing of the restaurant, cleaning and setting up the morning team for success Day-to-day supervision of all Team Members on the floor Organizing each shift using proper positioning to best take advantage of team members strengths Setting shift goals and objectives that align with the priorities of the business Managing the flow of service throughout the shift Maintaining focus on hospitality, speed of service and order accuracy Ensuring all daily tasks and other assigned duties are completed Leading by example to ensure all team members work in a safe and productive manner Coaching and developing team members Completing daily logs Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation Resolving customer complaints effectively to maintain the highest level of guest satisfaction

Availability:

Must be able to work until 11:30pm or later if needed. Weekends will be required at times.

Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work, including transportation to locations with no public transportation Tim Hortons (or other quick service restaurant) experience is a strong asset First Aid / Food Safety / WHMIS training is an asset Strong communication skills Exceptional customer service Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team under pressure Positive role model that is able to create an efficient, fun and exciting work environment Creative problem solving Reliable and results oriented
