Reporting to the Capital Planning & Controls Senior Supervisor, this leader oversees a high performing, cross functional team that ensures the right work is prioritized, fully planned, and ready for execution. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong safety leadership while upholding Nutrien's integrity core values, applying advanced problem-solving and sound decision-making skills to complex challenges. They will have proven experience managing budgets and interpreting maintenance data, along with a commitment to championing safety and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Success in this role requires the ability to collaborate respectfully and effectively with colleagues, fostering a positive and mentally healthy work environment that supports team performance and organizational excellence.
What You'll Do:

• Provide leadership for planning, scheduling, asset information, Capital and TAR costs, and work management controls functions.
• Ensure Planning resources are allocated appropriately to meet all Capital Project deadlines and execution requirements.
• Develop new standards and maintain existing standards related to Capital Projects Planning to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Support effective stewardship of the capital projects budget, including Turnarounds and capital project portfolios.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to team members, with a focus on building future leaders and strengthening organizational capability.
• Drive continuous improvement across work initiation, approval, planning, scheduling, asset information, and controls to enable safe, reliable, and efficient facility operations.
• Collaborate cross functionally to ensure work is properly prioritized, fully planned, and ready for execution in alignment with reliability, Capital Projects, and Turnaround performance measures.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in a related discipline (i.e. Mechanical Engineering) with 10+ years of experience in plant maintenance activities, OR 15+ years of progressive responsibility in an industrial maintenance environment with direct exposure to the various maintenance disciplines and experience with work management or TAR processes.
• Previous experience providing leadership, coaching, and development to team members, with a focus on building future leaders and strengthening organizational capability.
• Advanced knowledge of planning maintenance, turnaround, and/or capital projects.
