Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage various store functions effectively. Duties

Oversee daily store operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Manage, train, and develop staff to enhance their performance and promote career growth. Handle recruiting processes including interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees. Monitor inventory levels, assist with purchasing decisions, and manage merchandising strategies. Ensure effective cash handling procedures are followed, including payroll processing and bookkeeping tasks. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and enhancing the shopping experience. Implement sales strategies to meet or exceed store sales goals while maintaining pricing integrity. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members. Utilize effective communication skills to foster a positive work environment and facilitate teamwork. Maintain organized administrative records related to sales, inventory, and employee performance.

Requirements

Proven supervisory experience in a retail or similar environment is essential. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence others positively. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions. Proficiency in retail management practices including merchandising, pricing strategies, and sales management. Excellent organizational skills with strong time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is required. Solid math skills for budgeting and financial reporting purposes. Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written; phone etiquette is crucial for customer interactions. Experience in training & development of staff members to foster a skilled workforce. Administrative experience is beneficial for managing store operations efficiently. Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
