: Le titulaire du poste planifie, organise et supervise le travail des employes sous sa responsabilite, assure le respect des normes en sante et securite, du controle de la qualite et de la productivite en plus de veiller a la bonne marche et a l'entretien des equipements, le tout afin d'atteindre les objectifs de l'usine.



PRINCIPALES TACHES ET RESPONSABILITES




Effectuer un suivi rigoureux de la production afin de respecter la cedule de planification et de s'assurer d'atteindre l'efficacite, l'efficience et les standards des operations etablis. Effectuer la distribution du travail a chaque debut de quart de travail et s'assurer d'avoir les ressources humaines necessaires pour operer les lignes de production. S'assurer d'une transition sans probleme avec le quart de travail precedant ou suivant en revisant l'etat d'avancement des operations de la journee et en recherchant toute information susceptible d'affecter les operations. Participer aux rencontres journalieres avec les autres chefs de service. Superviser et coordonner l'execution des taches et etablir les priorites. Gerer les arrets de production afin de minimiser les temps d'arrets. Compiler les donnees de production et effectuer les rapports demandes. Identifier les sources de rejets, analyser les raisons et mettre en place des procedures Jouer un role majeur dans le processus de controle et d'assurance qualite en assurant le respect des normes HACCP, d'hygiene, de salubrite ainsi que des exigences controle qualite. Preparer et effectuer des rencontres mensuelles avec son equipe pour communiquer les besoins de l'Organisation (production, sante et securite, qualite etc). Promouvoir et faire respecter les differents programmes corporatifs. Controler l'absenteisme et gerer les dossiers disciplinaires de son equipe avec le service des ressources humaines. Former les nouveaux employes et assurer leur developpement. Faire respecter les Bonnes Pratiques de Fabrication et gerer les opportunites d'amelioration. Uniformiser les methodes de travail et mettre a jour les instructions de travail. Participer a l'evaluation des equipes de production. S'impliquer dans l'amelioration de la sante et securite au travail et effectuer le suivi des differents programmes en place. Gerer avec le service des ressources humaines les griefs Analyser les variances de production et voir a l'amelioration des procedes et des methodes de travail. Assurer le developpement des competences, la polyvalence ainsi que les habiletes de ses chefs d'equipe et de ses employes. Optimiser les processus de production et minimiser les couts. Maintien un climat de travail favorable au respect, a la motivation et au rendement de son personnel. Responsable de faire respecter les consignes et politiques de l'entreprise. Toutes autres taches relatives au departement peuvent etre assignees si necessaire.


EDUCATION ET EXPERIENCE PROFESSIONNELLE MINIMALES EXIGEES :




DEC en gestion des operations ou l'equivalent. Posseder au moins 10 annees d'experience en gestion des operations et dans le domaine alimentaire, pharmaceutique ou cosmetique. Experience en gestion du personnel et un bon esprit d'equipe. Experience dans un milieu syndique. Connaissance des programmes HACCP et SQF. Bilinguisme.

Job Purpose:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for planning, supervising and monitoring the production and packaging departments, while maintaining our superior standards of first run quality pasta. Must be able to lead, coach and mentor production associates to deliver organizational and customer objectives.


Key Responsabilities:




Deliver operational performance objectives of the shift contributing to the goal to be the lowest cost manufacturer of quality products in our industry Responsible for developing, coaching, engaging the machine operators assigned to the specialist's authority in the areas of: timely pasta production (schedule adherence and attainment), operational and personal safety, product and process quality, cost containment (examples: scrap/rework generation), and driving operator accountability. Assists operators in solving problems and provides mentoring on the use of effective problem solving methodologies. Responsible for effective intra-shift communication with other specialists and work stakeholders regarding improved techniques, critical production information, status of production runs, etc... Instructs and/or trains production associates in performance of tasks and ensures appropriate standards are maintained. Recommends or initiates personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures. Maintains proper staffing levels while administrating employee benefits of vacation and personal time. Administers attendance program with direct reports. Performs annual performance evaluations with direct reports. Conducts new hire and annual performance reviews for direct reports.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:



DEC in Operations Management or equivalent. Have at least 10 years of experience in operations management and in the food, pharmaceutical or cosmetic field. Experience in personnel management and good team spirit. Experience in a unionized environment. Knowledge of HACCP and SQF programs. Bilingualism.
