Job Overview


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Supervised ABA Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children, teens, or young adults diagnosed with autism and other developmental disorders, implementing individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. You will play a crucial role in the growth and development of the clients' served.

Responsibilities



Implement individualized ABA therapy programs tailored to each child's unique needs. Conduct assessments and collect data to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care. Provide support in developing social skills, communication, and daily living skills for children. Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, including data collection and progress notes. Participate in team meetings to discuss case management and share insights on patient development. Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in ABA therapy and special education.

Requirements



Experience working with children, teens or adults, particularly those with autism or other developmental disorders. Background in pediatrics, schools, or group homes is highly desirable. Willing to travel to areas around Simcoe County Compassionate, fun, adaptable, reliable, and kind. Comfortable with note taking and data collection. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, families, and team members. A commitment to ongoing professional development and research in the field of ABA therapy. An interest and desire to support others through strengths-based, naturalistic, and values-driven therapy. Qualifications:



Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis, Child and Youth Work, Early Childhood Education Preferred - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in related field Minimum 1 year experience working with children, autistic people, or other populations Has a current vulnerable sector check Has or is willing to obtain professional liability insurance Has a valid drivers license
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
