Thriving Orchids Therapy aims to provide high-quality therapeutic approaches in-home, virtual and centre-based services to children and youth with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities and developmental disabilities. We are currently looking to hire an instructor therapist to join our team to deliver evidence-based Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapy.

Qualifications:

MUST have a vehicle and valid Ontario drivers' licence for travelling for work purposes. Willing to travel in the GTA (paid travel). A Degree or Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis, behaviour sciences, psychology, or related field Experience as an Instructor Therapist or an RBT is a MUST Experience providing ABA therapy is a MUST Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed. Exceptional play-based teaching skills Experience working with children with neurodevelopmental disabilities, behavioural challenges, or both is preferred when utilizing ABA Ability to collaborate with team members and to take feedback and guidance Strong verbal and written communication skills Enthusiastic and committed to helping children with special needs An up-to-date Vulnerable Sectors Screening First Aid and CPR training preferred

Responsibilities:

Delivering direct ABA services in BOTH in-home and center-based settings Prepare and organize the teaching environment and materials Any administrative duties as assigned by Senior Level Therapist and/or Clinical Supervisor Implementation of daily skill acquisition programs and behaviour intervention plans Assisting with client assessments (e.g., PEAK, VBMAPP, AFLS, ABLLS-R) Data collection and keeping record of behaviour data Communication and collaboration with team members, parents, and other professionals

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour
