Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of construction management practices for commercial and multi-family residential construction.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and labor to ensure efficient workflow. Review and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure project specifications are met. Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship throughout the project lifecycle. Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and forecasting costs. Utilize construction management software such as Procore for project documentation and communication. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise promptly. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution. Ensures and controls all construction site activity to meet or exceed company quality standards. Fosters and enhances positive client, consultant, subcontractor, and vendor relations.

Skills

Proficiency in construction management software, particularly Procore would be an asset. Strong ability in blueprint reading and understanding schematics. Experience in quality control processes within the construction industry. Understanding of project costing and reporting. Proven track record in supervising teams and subcontractors effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment. Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in construction management.

Education & Experience Requirements:

2+ years of construction and supervision experience. Red Seal Carpenter (journeyman) accreditation.

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
