Our Thunder Bay location in Ontario, Canada is currently seeking talent to fill the position of Superintendent, Stores - Thunder Bay Pulp and Paper Mill. This job is permanent, full-time.

Stores Superintendent - Thunder Bay Mill Operations

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Thunder Bay Operations team.

Located on the shores of Lake Superior, Thunder Bay is a four-season outdoor paradise and is the region\'s commercial, administrative, medical and transportation hub, providing the amenities of an urban center while opening the gateway to outdoor adventure in North-western Ontario.

Your challenges:

In this salary position you will provide leadership and support in the management of the stores warehouse operations.

Your primary Responsibilities will include the following:

• You will monitor and provide support for safety, environment, product quality and productivity while ensuring that budgeted safety, cost, production and quality targets are satisfied.
• You will supervise unionized individuals and work as part of a team of 9 individuals in purchasing and logistics.
• Your profile:
• At least 3 years of previous leadership experience and sound decision-making abilities.
• At least 3 years of previous experience within an industrial setting.
• Post-secondary diploma or degree is an asset.
• Candidates must have at least 3 years of previous experience managing a warehouse setting for a large industrial facility.
• Candidates must be able to legally work in Canada at the time of applying for the position.

• Excellent interpersonal skills including an ability to work collaboratively within a fast paced and structured environment.
• Strong communication skills with excellent strategic thinking skills.
• Strong ability to balance priorities that meet short and long-term objectives using organized and efficient work methods.
• Proficient analytical skills required as well as a strong computer skills.
