Required Profile

You are a professional with relevant experience in the turnkey construction industry. You have at least a college diploma in civil, mechanical, or architectural engineering, or you have relevant experience in the construction field and a good command of English (an asset).

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Site Manager, the Site Superintendent will be responsible for:

Planning, coordinating, and supervising work on site Setting priorities and directing subcontractors according to the pre-established project schedule Monitoring and ensuring compliance with OHS standards and monitoring them Working closely with the Project Manager and minimizing budgetary impacts by respecting the decisions made Ensuring, in collaboration with the Project Manager, that subcontractors fulfill contractual obligations and requirements Monitor the quality of work and promptly correct non-compliant work Organize and lead meetings with subcontractors Write daily site reports, complete inspection sheets, weekly schedules, and timesheets Act as a worthy representative of the construction company and maintain good relationships with everyone
