Located in the Southern Athabasca region, MEG\xe2\x80\x99s Christina Lake Project is a multi-phased project approximately 150 kilometers South of Fort McMurray in Northeast Alberta. Comprised of approximately 200 square kilometers of leases, this SAGD operation currently has regulatory approvals in place to produce approximately 210,000 bpd. All workers will be staying at the state-of-the-art Poplar Ridge Lodge, which boasts a gym, rec area, commissary, laundry facility, Wi-Fi, cable, custom sandwiches, as well as full breakfasts and dinners. We have an amazing, experienced site team at MEG Energy who have safety and efficient work practices at the top of mind.
Jardeg is recruiting Superintendent with the MEG Energy Turnaround Projects team on site near Conklin, Alberta. This is a full-time/temporary position starting on a 8/4 then 6/1 shift rotation, starting on days then on nights. This is a drive-in / drive-out site only and travel allowance will be provided.
About the Role: As a key member of the Western Canada Infrastructure team, the Site Superintendent will be responsible for the organization, direction, supervision, and coordination of construction activities on a construction project site as delineated in the applicable project execution procedures, site specific safety plan and project execution plan.
