About Potash
BHP\'s Jansen Potash Project located approximately 140 km east of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan is BHP\'s first and most advanced potash project. Jansen will add diversity and a Canadian presence to BHP\'s global portfolio. Jansen\'s large resource endowment provides the opportunity to develop it in stages, with anticipated initial capacity of 4.35 Mtpa. The BHP Board has recently sanctioned Jansen Project (Stage 1), with a US $5.7 billion investment. The project is now entering the construction phase, with the first potash expected in 2027.
Work Location
This role will be based at the Jansen Mine Site located in Leroy, SK. The work schedule for this role will be eight days on, six days off.
This role is eligible for accommodation in the site camp site.
Purpose
The Superintendent Health will be instrumental in delivering improvement and governance in the domain of Health and Hygiene (H&H) across Potash. The role will provide leadership and expert advice to our construction projects, operation readiness, and other stakeholders on occupational H&H related matters and risks. The role will set and drives health related strategies to drive an uplift in quality of plans, standards, practices that address health and hygiene issues/risks.
