Responsibilities

Operate heavy trucks to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries as required by company policy. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving. Perform minor maintenance and automotive repairs on the truck as needed. Operate forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary for loading or unloading freight.

Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record preferred. Familiarity with freight handling procedures and heavy equipment operation is a plus. Basic knowledge of automotive repair is advantageous for maintaining vehicle performance. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Pay: $21.00-$30.00 per hour
