Sunrise Floral is seeking dedicated sunflower field workers to maintain and harvest our sunflower field for the Summer. We are looking for someone(s) who would enjoy working outside and can remain task-oriented. The Sunflower Field Workers are responsible for planting and harvesting the field of sunflowers. REQUIREMENTS Although no experience is required the individual/s will need to be motivated and have good time management skills. Workers must enjoy working outdoors and must be able to stand and bend for extended periods of time. Applicants should be able to lift at least 40 Lbs. and be able to complete some physically demanding tasks. WORK SCHEDULE We are looking to fill shifts five to seven days a week. Individuals will be expected to start at 8 am and work until about 3 or 4 pm. We do our best to accommodate a schedule that works best for you. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES \xc2\xb7 Water, support, and weed the field. \xc2\xb7 Inspect the field daily and address concerns as they arise. \xc2\xb7 Organize and maintain the tools and equipment used for the job. \xc2\xb7 Maintain a safe and organized work area. \xc2\xb7 Harvest the field every day during sunflower harvest. \xc2\xb7 Cut, bunch, sleeve, and store the products. \xc2\xb7 Communicate with Field Managers about daily quotas. \xc2\xb7 Maintain the Flower Count log. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge with farm vehicles or be comfortable learning how to drive them \xc2\xb7 Set up and disassemble the netting, risers and irrigation systems for the field, organize and store them.
