The Employee shall be responsible for day-to-day carpentry, maintenance and repair tasks relating to Red Sands Properties Inc.\xe2\x80\x99s clients and residents. The Employee reports to Red Sands Properties Inc.\xe2\x80\x99s Supervisor of Maintenance. Job Title: Summerside Maintenance Worker Hours: Full time Monday-to-Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm, some weekends and evenings, as required Start Date: ASAP Pay: $20-$25/hour, based on experience and qualifications, plus overtime opportunities Job type: Permanent with 3-month probation period Vacation: 2 weeks paid vacation or 4% vacation pay Location: Various locations across PEI, with Summerside being the hub Company vehicle provided Job duties: \xc2\xb7 General maintenance and renovations skills such as framing, flooring, painting, dry walling, seam filling, etc. \xc2\xb7 Basic Plumbing including changing of faucets, toilets and shower heads \xc2\xb7 Electrical work such as: light fixtures, bulbs, switches and receptacles \xc2\xb7 Perform minor fixes such as broken locks, patching holes in walls, touch up paint and tenant turnover requirements \xc2\xb7 Perform scheduled maintenance tasks like checking gutters, oil tanks, sump pumps, etc. upon request \xc2\xb7 Shovelling and salting walkways and stairs \xc2\xb7 Assist or lead in cleaning out units or excessive garbage build up on properties \xc2\xb7 Performing garbage runs \xc2\xb7 Picking up, delivering and setting up appliances \xc2\xb7 Painting and basic seam filling \xc2\xb7 Building decks and basic carpentry work Experience needed: \xc2\xb7 3+ years of relevant handyman or carpentry experience is required.
