Summer Students Production Worker

Eden Valley Poultry Inc. is a Canadian company - unique in the industry. We process and market chickens and turkeys for Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island farmers. We are seeking Summer Students. As a Summer Student, you will process and package poultry. You will ensure all work performed adheres to organizational standards as well as food and safety regulations and guidelines. This is a labor-intensive position requiring individuals to perform repetitive tasks and stand for long periods of time.
As a Summer Student Candidate you:
- must be a full-time student and enrolled in a post-secondary institution;
- are available for work between May-September.
- have the ability to work in a safe and efficient manner.
- are willing and able to follow specific instructions.
- can perform repetitive tasks with little supervision.
- can work in a team; are reliable.
- have a commitment to accuracy and detail.
- have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; and
- are able to work shifts as scheduled.
