Summer Student
Job Description
SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. Summer students perform a variety of manual and semi-skilled tasks including, but not limited to: equipment and shop maintenance, yard upkeep and supporting our Service and Maintenance Technicians.
Responsibilities
Equipment and shop maintenance including:
painting services
cleaning and organizing facilities and stations
Yard maintenance including:
lawn mowing
weed trimming
hand digging
raking
Assisting operations staff with a variety of tasks as directed.
General administrative duties including filing and working with spreadsheets.
Qualifications
Enrolled as a post-secondary student, on a full-time basis, for the fall 2024 and winter 2024 semesters.
Valid Class 5 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s licence.
Available from May 1, 2024 to August 30, 2024.
Returning to school in the fall of 2024.
Physically fit.
Additional Information
Travel, including overnight stays away from bid headquarters, may be required.
The successful candidate will be subject to a background check that includes drug and alcohol testing.
Students must be prepared to work outdoors.
