Must be a Resident of Saskatchewan's North (RSN)
Orano Canada is a leading producer of uranium in Canada, working to power the future with clean energy! Our McClean Lake mill is the most technologically advanced mill in the world for the processing of high-grade uranium ore without dilution. As a mill maintenance planning summer student, you will assist with key tasks related to plant maintenance and operations. We look forward to your application!
Responsibilities include:
Assist with closing work orders, reconciling with labour hours with time card entries, scrutinizing parts allocations to ensure accurate work order history
Assist with maintaining an effective preventative maintenance program
Assist with work order backlog, closing of work orders and operations etc.
Maintain and develop equipment bill of materials
Assist with plant Maintenance KPI reporting
Provide administrative functions to the Mill Maintenance/Mill Planning department. Including, but not limited to: filing, general typing, data entry, procurement, assisting with data collection, reporting and formulating the weekly work order packages etc.
Other duties as assigned
Work Location & Schedule:
McClean Lake site
14 days in and 14 days out rotating schedule
Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside or normal working hours may be required
Fly Day- This position will fly in and fly out on Friday
Pick-Up Points: Saskatoon, Prince Albert, La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows and the designated communities in the Athabasca region of Uranium City, Stony Rapids, Fond du Lac, and Wollaston.

Ideal qualifications

Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
Must be a resident of Saskatchewan's north (RSN). Priority will be given to residents of the Athabasca Basin.
Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years of age
Must be dependable and able to work independently
Good written and oral communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Demonstrate good computer skills and past experience with Microsoft Office is an asset
This position is subject to pre-employment checks including education and criminal record verification.
