FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

To be eligible, youth must:

be between 15 and 30 years of age

at the beginning

of the employment period
be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment

and

have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
THE ROLE

Rainbow Housing Cooperative Ltd is looking for a summer student for building and grounds maintenance in Saskatoon, SK. The successful candidate will fill fixed term position until August 30th and will report directly to the Cooperative's Maintenance Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Assist in general maintenance and repair of building structures and property in accordance with all provincial Occupational Health and Safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have some experience with hand/power tools and lawn maintenance equipment.

Duties will include:

- lawn/tree maintenance

- painting

- assisting in refurbishment of vacant suites

- other duties as assigned
