We are pleased to announce that we will be hiring Summer Students for our Extrusion Department within our Pickering Plant to start in May/June 2025.

MULTIPLE SHIFTS AVAILABLE

These roles will provide a real insight into working in a manufacturing/operational facility and will appeal to those that seek the opportunity to develop their understanding and skills in this area. Successful candidates will have a strong willingness to learn and be part of a team. Working with experienced personnel and under close supervision they will:

Duties:

Assist the team in packing or shipping products Perform daily set-up and operating tasks Perform daily basic preventative maintenance: checking measuring devices, filters, oil levels, etc. Notifies maintenance of needed repairs Present raw materials to operation Undertake quality checks as per quality instructions and records Pack out passed materials for shipment and assist in the packing and stacking of loads Maintain the plants cleanliness. Keeping the working areas free of clutter and obstacles

Who you are:

These roles can be physically demanding and will involve bending and lifting varying weights according to customer specifications. Ideally candidates will have had experience of using standard inspection instruments and are able to produce quality records.

Summer Students must be enrolled in College/University and starting or returning to school in Fall 2025.
