DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate will perform basic building services duties for the property requiring daily interaction with customers and service providers, which demands an individual that consistently demonstrates empathy and courtesy to the customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs. This position at times will require some physical activity, such as lifting of boxes, pulling carts, and deliveries throughout the towers. Flexible hours are required in this role with occasional weekends or evenings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 
  Provide support and coverage with preventative maintenance, repair work, and tenant requests.
• 
  Auditing and updating building storage inventories and site locations.
• 
  Receiving and recording tenant and building deliveries for the towers as required.
• 
  Responsible for assisting with the set-up and takedown of events within the interior and exterior site.
• 
  Loading dock coverage as required.
• 
  Assisting other departments when needed.
• 
  Embody and support Brookfield Properties\xe2\x80\x99 Safety, Health, and Environment Policy.
• 
  Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate hazards to reduce risk to the workplace.
• 
  Engage in training and continuing education to develop the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to work safely.
• 
  Take action to stop work if it cannot be executed safely or if conditions or behaviors are unsafe.
• 
  Immediately report SH&E incidents, near-misses, unsafe conditions, and/or at-risk behaviors to their supervisor; then diligently work to correct the problem.
• 
  Promote safe work practices and safe working conditions in accordance with all Brookfield Properties Safe Work Procedures.
• 
  Wear Personal Protective Equipment when required
• 
  Completion of other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

SERVICE / PERSONAL SKILLS:
This position requires an individual with superior customer service and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

EXPERIENCE & TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• 
  Previous experience in customer services
• 
  Experience with basic tools and equipment
• 
  Loading dock experience is an asset
• 
  Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
• 
  Familiar with computers
• 
  Skilled with basic tools and equipment

EDUCATION / DESIGNATIONS / LICENSES:

• 
  Strong written and verbal communications skills
