Working with the Adult and Continuing Education/Blended Learning Assistant and central staff, they help set up the school by working on student registration, tracking attendance, purchasing supplies, and supporting the coordinator, assistant coordinator and teachers with office related tasks. A great amount of time is dedicated to course registration, preparing class lists, and tracking students as they work towards their credits as well as preparing report cards and end of school tasks. Location: Bluewater District School Board Education Centre, Chesley, and Owen Sound District Secondary School, Owen Sound Commencing: As soon as possible, and ending August 9, 2023 Hours of Work: Up to full time hours Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday REMUNERATION: $18.55 per hour DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: \xc2\xb7 Office management and assistance supporting the summer school coordinator, and the Adult and Continuing Education/Blended Learning Assistant with a variety of tasks \xc2\xb7 Track attendance and attendance follow-up \xc2\xb7 Assistance with program registration, enrolment, and maintaining student records in confidence \xc2\xb7 Communicate effectively with students, clients, staff, administration, and the general public and assist with inquires as they arise \xc2\xb7 Purchase and manage resources \xc2\xb7 Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: \xc2\xb7 Candidate must have student status, and currently be enrolled in a secondary, or post-secondary institution or within six months of graduation.
