Position Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and driven candidates for our Summer Intern Leasing Agent position, ideal for individuals eager to break into the real estate industry or those looking to make a significant career shift. This role provides a rare chance to gain extensive, hands-on experience in real estate over a short, intensive period. Our intern will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, gaining knowledge and skills that are critical in the leasing sector and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct property tours for potential tenants and provide them with insightful information and assistance.
• Learn and apply knowledge of the leasing process, including application reviews, lease agreements, and move-in procedures.
• Perform market analysis and stay updated on local real estate trends to provide accurate information to clients and management.
• Develop and hone sales, negotiation, and customer service skills through daily interactions and targeted training.
• Build a professional network by connecting with team members, industry professionals, and clients.
• Assist in the preparation of marketing materials and participate in promotional events to attract new tenants.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve leasing targets and contribute to the team\'s success.

Schedule:

• Full-time position requiring 40 hours per week
• Shift Times: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM/10:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Shifts occur seven days a week, requiring weekend availability

Location:

• Windsor Park Plaza & Lofts (787 Rental Units) 8210 111 Street, Edmonton Alberta

Compensation:

• Hourly wage: $22.00.
• An additional commission is awarded for each successfully signed lease deal.

Start Date:

• The internship is set to commence in April/May, with the specific start date to be determined.
