What You'll Doo Assist with environmental field programs including Phase I/II ESAs, vegetation & soil assessments, water sampling.
Prepare for and execute fieldwork safely: manage logistics, pack field kits, drive to remote sites, and follow safety protocols.
Use field tablets, mapping software, and mobile data tools to collect, document, and upload observations.
Collaborate with project leads, GIS analysts, and senior technicians to complete deliverables.
Participate in post-field analysis and reporting by organizing data, drafting notes, and contributing to regulatory summaries.
What You Bringo Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Environmental Science, Biology, Agriculture, Ecology, or related field.
Exposure to environmental fieldwork or sampling techniques (through school or work).
A valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
Comfort working outdoors in variable weather, often in remote/rural settings.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to ask questions and learn.
Bonus if you have: First Aid, WHMIS, ATV/UTV training, or experience using GIS/Survey123.
