We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to support ongoing research projects within our organization. Duties

Collect and organize data using appropriate tools and methodologies Maintain accurate records of all research activities and data sets Collaborate with team members to ensure project milestones are met efficiently Assist in setting up field experiments (land preparation, staking, flagging, seed preparation) Assist in data collection (biomass sampling, field notes, soil sampling, data entry) Assisting with plot maintenance (fertilizing, pesticide application, harvesting) Assisting with sample processing (weighing, drying, grinding) Ensure compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies during all research activities

Requirements

Full time degree or diploma student Valid driver's license Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Enjoys working outside Prior experience with research projects or laboratory work is a plus but not mandatory Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
