Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated staff members to join our Summer School-Age Camp Program team. The ideal candidates will help create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for school-aged children throughout the summer months. This role involves supporting daily activities, encouraging social development, and ensuring the well-being of every child in the program. Strong communication, creativity, and teamwork are essential, along with a genuine passion for working with children.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and leading age-appropriate games, crafts, and activities Help foster a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, and outings Support positive behaviour and social development among children Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times Assist with daily routines and transitions between activities Communicate effectively with children, families, and fellow team members Support children with diverse needs and abilities by adapting activities as needed

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Experience working with children in camp, childcare, or educational settings is an asset Strong teamwork and communication skills Reliable, patient, energetic, and enthusiastic about working with children Ability to foster an inclusive environment and support children with special needs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
